A clear guide to how our services work, what to expect, and how we keep your pets safe and happy.
What are your communication hours?Â
We respond to messages between 9am and 6pm, Monday through Friday. If weâre actively caring for your pets or you send a lastâminute request, you may hear from us outside these hours.
What area do you service?
Right now, we offer our services in Longmont, Lyons, Loveland, Berthod, Fredrick, Firestone, Gunbarrel, Niwot, Lafayette, & Boulder.Â
Can you administer medications?
Absolutely. Weâre experienced with a wide range of medications and routines, including oral meds, topical treatments, injections, and specialized care for seniors or pets with chronic conditions. If your pet has a specific schedule or needs a little extra patience, weâre confident we can handle it.
When is payment due?
Payment is due as soon as the dates are confirmed, no later than two weeks before the start of the booking. Please note we cannot guarantee or reserve dates until payment is made in full. After services are paid in full, your spot is guaranteed.
Is there a holiday surcharge?
Yes, we have a 20% surcharge on all services booked during holidays.Â
Do you require the home to be prepared before an overnight stay?
Yes - we ask that all homes be clean and that pet supplies are accessible before we arrive. We cannot stay overnight in homes that are dirty and not properly prepped for us.
Do I need to disclose cameras in my home?
Yes. All cameras must be disclosed before booking. For privacy, indoor cameras are unplugged during houseâsitting stays and can be plugged back in when we leave if requested. Outdoor cameras may remain active.
What information do you need before caring for my pets?
We require:
Complete written instructions
Updated vet information
Emergency contacts
If something is not included in your instructions, we wonât perform it. This ensures clarity and safety.
Can I request overnight bookings for just my dog if I have a cat in the home as well?
No. Please understand we do not accept partial bookings for a household. Every pet must be included in the booking (unless you make other arrangements for the additional pet(s) to be out of the home). We will have to decline partial requests if other arrangements cannot be made.Â
What supplies do I need to provide?
Please make sure your home is stocked with paper towels, cleaning sprays, poop bags, puppy pads (if needed), litter, leashes, collars, bowls, food, treats, and any other essential pet supplies. This helps us keep your home clean and your pets comfortable.
How often will my pet get potty breaks?
Potty breaks are provided every 4â8 hours. If your pet cannot be left alone for that long, let us know so we can discuss accommodations.
Do you offer constant care?
Yes! constant care is available and is billed hourly. Multiple services in a single day are priced individually unless you book an overnight stay.
Do you prorate services?
No. Any day we are actively responsible for your home or pets is billed as a full day.
How often will I receive updates?
Youâll receive 1â2 updates per day, unless thereâs a situation that requires more frequent communication.
Do you offer plant care?
Yes â for an additional $20. Weâll do our best, but we canât guarantee plant condition since weâre not plant professionals.
What is your cancellation policy?
House sitting: Cancellations made before two weeks' time will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within two weeks will receive a 50% refund, and cancellations made within a week will receive a 25% refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours will not receive a refund.
Dog walking & dropâins: Cancellations made before a week will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within a week will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours will not receive a refund. To help you avoid fees, weâre happy to reschedule within one month at no cost.
Do you take dogs to dog parks or allow offâleash time?
No. For safety reasons, we do not take dogs to dog parks, and we never allow offâleash activity in unenclosed areas. Offâleash play is only allowed in a fully fenced private yard with written permission.
What if my travel plans change?
We understand delays happen. Please communicate changes as soon as possible so we can ensure your pets remain safe and cared for.
Are you insured?
Yes! Weâre fully insured for professional petâcare services. This coverage protects both your home and your pets during any service we provide, giving you extra peace of mind while youâre away.
